Kevin Robson Tawny Owl

Report
Kevin Robson is a wildlife photographer based in Cambridge who runs a hide for photographing Tawny Owls under constant LED light. The setup is similar to the one used by Des Ong for his Barn Owl Hide.
The lighting is less bright than Des's which isn't a bad thing - it still looks like its night time. I'm not sure it would look right for a Tawny Owl to be posing in the open in the middle of the day. Moody nighttime vibes suit this bird much better in my opinion.
It's a short session at about 2 hours and we didnt have to wait long for the owls to arrive, so this is a good one if you like the idea of hide photography, but not so much the reality of waiting 12 hours for a glimpse of an eagle.
If you wish to visit this hide yourself, you can contact Kevin via his website.
